A small footwear company
Grandfather Gennaro starts a small footwear company. It is the beginning of the family's story in the industry.
- The next generation
Passing the baton
The business passes to his son Vincenzo, who grows it together with his own children.
- 2016
Giada by Assunto is born
Gennaro Assunto founds Giada by Assunto Srl in Mugnano di Napoli, specialising in supplies for footwear and leather goods. The name comes from his two sons, Gianluca and Davide.
- Today
The fourth generation, today
Gianluca runs the company and Davide leads sales: they are the fourth generation of the Assunto family in the industry. Today Giada serves over 250 active customers across Italy, with a warehouse of about 2,500 square metres and a catalogue that has grown from footwear to leather goods, and on to marine and home furnishing products (rugs and doormats).
Facility and warehouse
Our Mugnano di Napoli site hosts the sales offices, the technical area and a racked warehouse for high-rotation references. Computerised stock management enables fast order fulfilment and batch traceability on chemical products.
